MS RheinEnergie: the superlative on the Rhine
There is no doubt that MS RheinEnergie is the leading event ship in Europe, setting benchmarks in innovation. Many spectacular events have taken place on board. Even Pope Benedict XVI chose the ship in summer 2005 to greet from the sundeck the thousands of pilgrims gathered on the banks of the Rhine for World Youth Day. The event ship, built in 2004, surpasses with its central inside stage all expectations of a conventional ship and provides extraordinary possibilities for events of all kinds.

Description
The basic dimensions – 90.3 m long by 19.3 m wide, three decks and a sundeck of 1,200 m² in size give a good indication of how much room there is inside the catamaran. The focal point is a 35 m² stage at the centre of the ship, with a separate dressing room and stage door. From two levels, the main deck and the gallery of the upper deck, about 1,000 people have a clear view of the stage. With its generous floor space MS RheinEnergie is ideal for all kinds of events with 450 to 1,650 guests.
Three elegant bar counters on the main and upper decks and an additional one on the sundeck also set new accents. Of course the ship has sophisticated lighting and sound equipment installed, as well as state-of-the-art presentation technology with screens, monitors and flat panel displays etc.
This fully air-conditioned event ship is not only a unique location with excellent facilities for stage presentations, but combines that with the experience of a river cruise. Whether you are organising a carnival session, a concert, an annual general meeting, company celebration or a product presentation, this vessel gives a new quality to countless types of event. Even a car can be presented with ease on the main deck or sundeck.
The main and upper decks have generously sized windows, which let guests enjoy the scenery as if from a box seat. A favourite place among passengers is the panorama lounge in the forward area of MS RheinEnergie. And of course the ship is wheelchair accessible with a lift to all decks.
