KD has a particular soft spot for families and children, which is why we have so many special offers and concessions in our programme, which we should like to present here.
It’s child’s play
Children don’t get bored so easily on KD ships. Most of them have play areas which make a cruise into a real experience. Slides, paddling pools and different kinds of swings are standard fittings on many vessels.

Wednesday is Family Day
On Wednesdays up to three children travel free per fare paying adult. This applies to all scheduled cruises on the entire KD network, with the exception of round trip and event cruises.

Take advantage of our special family tickets for 2 adults and 2 children (under 16 yrs) priced from € 23.00, available for panorama cruises.
For our scheduled cruises we offer a Family Day Ticket priced at only € 61.00, valid for any return journey of your choice within the entire KD network.
Pirates' Party
Everything centres around the kids!
This year the Pirates Parties are themed “Pippi Longstocking”, “Wickie and the Strong Men” or “Harry Potter” , depending on the date. With a mixed bag of games and crafts, magicians and clowns, and lots of surprises, our team of experienced children’s entertainers makes sure that it’s a great summer’s day out.

Meals for Kids
To suit our younger guests we have special offers for children on our ship’s menus.
For instance there is the River Pirates’ Meal for only € 7.80 per child, which includes chicken nuggets with French fries and ketchup, as well as a glass of 0,2l Nestea ice tea. For dessert there’s vanilla and strawberry ice cream.
